13:5-6
Hebrews
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

No joke though, this season has been God refining me and teaching me to be content with what I have while I wait for His good plans to be revealed, one at a time. Learning to be content doesn't mean I should feel guilty for wanting more. I learned that those desires only start harming me and my relationship with God when I let them control my life.
I had to learn to see the gift of enjoyment in this season, and to desire something and be passionate about the things He's provided for me.
Unemployement Season
Since March 2026, work life has been challenging. My part-time job temporarily closed, and this month was also the last time I had a lead that booked. Suddenly, the old ways of getting clients weren't working anymore. My posts were being seen, but that was it.
At first, I thought I just needed to learn more about marketing. But trying to learn a whole new set of skills on top of everything else that was happening only overwhelmed me. I broke down so many times and had to keep my distance from everyone just to calm my emotions. I had to let myself feel everything first before I could start letting go of the things God was freeing me from.
I started learning what it meant to completely surrender to God and let Him free me from my bad habits. God also blessed me with a Life Group and a community. Little by little, He lowered the walls I had built around myself. He blessed me with a sister in Christ who understood me, and for the first time in a long while, I started feeling less lonely.
But before I could truly experience the beauty of that community, I had to learn how to be lonely with God first.
It's definitely not easy to have a community right in front of you and still choose not to be part of it. I was too lost. I had to learn to find my way back to God and trust Him. I didn't know who I was anymore, and that made it hard to introduce myself because I didn't know who I was representing.
Who am I introducing to these people?
Who's Ann?
She's not a photographer. She's not a receptionist. An actor? No. A content creator? Not really.
I had to learn to find my identity in Him, even when I couldn't fully understand what that meant. I had to trust a God I couldn't see with my own eyes and simply have faith.
Many might read this story, but not everyone will understand.
A Vision
Since I've had a lot of free time lately, I've been spending more time by the lake near my neighbourhood. It's become one of the ways I feel His presence more—being surrounded by His creation and His art.
It was probably around my birthday. I was sitting by the lake, watching the sunset, when I received an idea—a creative project I believe God has given me.
But like most of us who often end up being fools, I doubted my reasons and questioned the posture of my heart for this project. So I decided to wait, look deeper, and ask my sisters for their guidance and prayers too.
After spending more time waiting and seeking, I decided to pray about it one more time. I told Him I would begin this journey and asked Him to guide me, as He always has. I also prayed that if the voices of the world ever started getting into my heart, I trust that He would keep me grounded and remind me of the purpose of this project.
I believe this project isn't just for me. It's meant for someone—someone who needs to see a loving Father and a powerful God, who is waiting for them with open arms.
Reminding myself of that purpose keeps me going, because I can't wait for someone else to see Him, to experience His peace, His love, and simply get to know Him.
Even if it's just one person.
Our Project
Of course, I'm not ready to reveal everything. One of the lessons I've learned in this season is to be discreet (maybe I'll explain more next time).
But this project is a part of my story with God—a daughter looking for her Father. The funny thing is, she didn't really have to look for Him that hard, since He's always been there. He literally sees everything and knows where we are at all times. But His daughter is pretty dramatic and tends to make simple things harder and more complicated. This is also one of the lessons He's been teaching me—that not everything needs to be loud or dramatic. Not every miracle and blessing needs to feel like thunder on a sunny day (ohp, that was good).
This I can give: this project will be Soluna's first collection.
When? I don't know. Time will tell. But I'm praying this will be completed and ready at the right time for whoever needs to see it.
As of now, I'm still finalizing parts of the story I'm ready to share through my art. I'm being led to call for a model for this project, and I'm honestly not sure how I'm going to do that. By the time this blog is published, I may have already found a model or models for the project—but who knows.
This project comes with no monetary gain. But I know all the provision I need will be provided by Him—whether it's money, resources, or people. I trust Him.

Getting out of survival mode
Today, June 29th, I received good news—an employment opportunity. A better one, and something I think I will enjoy. I believe it will not just be a job I do out of necessity to pay bills.
Praise the Lord for all the unseen work and the good plans He has for us. I pray that this new season will be kind to us, and that we remember to find comfort in Him when things get tough.
I know it's not always easy, but we have a bigger God and a kind, loving Father who has our backs, no matter what.

I haven't found my models yet
I'm looking for a woman in her early 20's and a man who can help me model The Father's shadows & image. Whether you're someone who believes in Him... or not yet, you're welcome here.
Ifyou're still seeing this section then that means I'm still looking.
If this is you, don't be afraid to contact me.
